Tara graduated from University of Central Oklahoma in 2004, with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has been a professional educator for 22 years. The first nine years of her professional career were spent teaching fifth grade for Norman Public Schools (NPS). She taught third grade for 3 years at a classical Christian school in Oklahoma City. This will be Tara’s 10th year teaching at Victory Family School.
Throughout her teaching career, Mrs. Jett has served on numerous boards helping to develop benchmark tests, collaborating with other teachers across the district, and attending professional development training to keep current with educational research and trends. She helped implement the Developmental Reading Assessment by providing and organizing high quality professional development that allowed teachers easier access to the assessments.
Mrs. Jett and her husband, Bo, have been attending Victory Family Church for over 8 years. The Jetts have four children, Lauren, Kaden, Katie, and Megan.
During her free time, Mrs. Jett enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafting and binge watching Netflix.
