Our Story

In 2015, through a casual conversation about education with Victory Family Church's Senior Pastor Adam Starling, a vision was birthed. After prayer and many thoughful discussions, a plan was developed to create Victory Family School - a school that would embrace the culture of out church, be committed to academic excellence, and incorporate a biblical worldview. Through the efforts of many, Victory Family School opened its doors in August 2017.

Our Values

Core values are deeply embedded in our school’s guiding principles. They direct us in fulfilling our mission, define our culture, and reflect who we are as an organization.

We are Family.

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do.

We give our very best to the next generation.

We care deeply about the needs of the people in our community.

Diversity is important to us; all people from every background will be loved and accepted.

We strive for Academic Distinction.

Mission Statement

Instilling a love for God, others and learning.

Vision Statement

Equip servant leaders who are academically, spiritually and socially prepared to impact the world for Christ.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
- Matthew 5:16

VFS recognizes and regards parents as partners in the educational process. This core value is developed intentionally by the efforts of many.

Spiritual Growth
Spiritual Growth

Every student is embraced with the love of Jesus Christ and is invited and encouraged towards spiritual growth through dynamic programs, activities, and curriculum.

Academic Distinction
Academic Distinction

VFS believes that excellence honors God and inspires people; thus, we are a school with high academic standards. We prepare students to achieve their highest potential.

Our Crest

The motto "Terras Irradient" is Latin for "Let them give light to the world." Our school motto, "Be the Light," is derived from our school verse, Matthew 5:16. "Terras Irradient" serves as a guiding principle for how we train and send students out into the world.

VFS's mascot is the ram, symbolizing Christ as both the leader of the herd and a sacrificial figure. This symbolism reminds us of Christ's sacrifice on the cross for our sins, foreshadowed in the story of Abraham and Isaac. In Genesis 22:13-14, Abraham saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. He named that place "The Lord will provide," and it is said, "On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided" (NIV).
