Graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught in the Norman Public School system for 12 years as a 3rd grade teacher.
Throughout her teaching career Mrs. Kendrix served as a cooperating teacher for student interns from the University of Oklahoma. She also participated in the mentor program for first year teachers in her building, where she enjoyed providing support to teachers entering the profession. During her 12 years of teaching, Mrs. Kendrix has attended numerous professional development training that has enabled her to stay up to date on the most effective strategies for teaching and learning. Collaboration with colleagues in her school community has also helped Mrs. Kendrix grow as a teacher.
Mrs. Kendrix has been married to her husband, David, for 9 years. They have two children. Her stepson Hudson is 19 years old and their son Drake is 6 years old. Mrs. Kendrix is so thankful to God for leading her to Victory Family School and leading her family to Victory Family Church, which they are now attending.
Teaching and watching students learn has always been a passion for Mrs. Kendrix. She is honored to be able to do what she loves at such a great school. She is looking forward to a wonderful year.
