MICHELLE

Michelle Camp graduated from the University of Illinois in 2001 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education.  She has 10 years of classroom experience, and has taught Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Special Education and ELL. She also has 4 years experience on staff in children’s ministry.  She began the first five years of her teaching career in Illinois, and then took some time off to stay home with her children once her family moved here to Oklahoma. When her children were school age, she went back to work part time for her church’s children’s ministry, and served as the Director of the Mid-Week programing at Wildwood Community Church. She and her family continue to serve preschool and elementary kids at Wildwood on Sundays.  She has taught at Roosevelt Elementary for 5 years and will be starting her 2nd year at Victory Family School this year.

Michelle and her husband Brad have been married for 22 years. They have two girls Ella (17) and Adi (15). She and her family love to be active and are huge sports fans and can be found at many OU sporting events. They are also often out at XC meets or the track watching Ella, or watching Adi cheer for Norman North and her competitive cheer team. They also love to spend time with their sweet black lab, Ezra.

In the classroom, Michelle works hard to build a sense of community and build relationships with students and families.  She meets each student where they are and helps them grow and achieve all they can! She is very excited for this school year and looks forward to working with all of the wonderful students, families and teachers at Victory Family School!
