LIZ

Liz is beginning her first year as a Spanish teacher at Victory Family School (VFS). Originally from Colombia, she studied psychology before moving to the U.S. in 2012. In the U.S. She discovered her passion for working with children and initially taught Pre-K and Spanish at private schools. After the birth of her first child, Liam, Liz chose to stay home to homeschool him. Six years later, as Liam started kindergarten at VFS, Liz returned to her professional career. She has since worked with public schools in Oklahoma and served as a substitute teacher at VFS, which has led to her new role as a Spanish teacher. Liz and her husband reside in Moore with their two-year-old son, Thiago, and their seven-year-old son, Liam, who is currently in first grade at VFS. Liz enjoys spending time with her family, attending church at Victory Family Church (VFC), and is an active member of the greeter team.
