TIFFANY

Tiffany is starting her first year as the 4th grade teacher at Victory Family School. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in 1989. After teaching a combined 1st/2nd grade class in Oklahoma City and Transition in Norman, she moved to Maine where she became the lead teacher and curriculum coordinator at a startup preschool in Portland. Upon returning to Norman, she taught 5th grade for four years then stayed home to raise her three children. From 2004-2014 Tiffany taught 2nd and 3rd grades. She has been on numerous school committees and has many hours of professional development and is trained in Spell to Write and Read and Shurley Grammar. After working the past nine years as an executive assistant in business, she is excited to return to her passion of teaching children.
Tiffany and her husband, Michael, have been married for one year and have six children and seven grandchildren. They enjoy playing golf, entertaining, and being with family and friends. They are currently spending time planning a remodel of their barn and beautifying the property. They are very involved at their home church, Wildwood, where they volunteer on the community service team and Tiffany is on the lead team for their Sunday School class.
Tiffany has always had a love for teaching children and partnering with parents to achieve the most success for each student. Her desire is to encourage and model love for learning, love for Jesus, forgiveness and reconciliation. She values each family and child and works to create a positive and structured learning environment where it is safe and encouraged to ask questions and to work together to discover and understand new knowledge, skills, and Biblical truths. Tiffany is thankful for this teaching opportunity and is looking forward to all God will do in and through the community of VFS this coming year.
